MEET YOUR TEACHER
I’m Isobelle Lans — book editor, writing coach, website designer, and life-long fiction writer.
I used to hate revising. Really hate it. Once a first draft was complete, I’d shelve the book and start something new because I never wanted to revise.
And while I still prefer drafting, I now look forward to being able to revise and shape my stories.
What changed? My approach. I found a system that worked for me. One that made revising feel easier and more manageable. And it’s this that I want to share with you. I want you to be able to unlock your storytelling potential by having a fool-proof system for revising your books.
Why I combined self-paced learning with submittable work…
I know life is busy. I know you have other commitments, and making time for your writing isn’t always easy. That’s why my course is broken into bite-sized videos that you can fit around your daily schedule. These recorded lessons are available for you to watch at your own pace.
But to help you get the most out of this course, I have introduced submission milestones. Every couple of weeks you’ll have the opportunity to submit work to me to keep you accountable and keep you moving forward in the course.
In my experience as a writing coach, people need both accountability and flexibility, and I aim to provide both so you can learn in a way that gets you the best results.

Story Alchemy is for fiction writers who have written their first novel and aren’t sure how to approach revising. If you haven’t got a revision process that works for you, it will be hard to make progress. Story Alchemy will give you a clear revision roadmap you can use on repeat.

This course includes self-paced videos for you to watch in your own time as well as submission points for feedback.
Each module consists of a video lesson and fillable worksheet. Module 1 lessons will be available immediately after purchase.

The suggested course timeframe is 6 weeks. However, you will have access to the module lessons, downloadable worksheets, and Discord community for 6 months, giving you plenty of time to complete the course work.
